Inside Mount
Window frame depth requirement：
A minimum depth of 3⅛ inches is required for all shade types.
Outside Mount
You can choose outside mount for better shading effect. Shades are installed over the window on brackets attached to the wall or window frame. We recommend adding a minimum of 2-4 inches to your width and 10-12 inches above the window frame for height measurements to allow for light gap coverage.
